Absolutely magnificent

I ordered my fully-customed iaito at Tozando, and the quality of the craftsmanship as well as the visual aspects are second to none. I would definitely recommend it to any kenshi!

Terrific balance, but the upgraded same seam was in plain view!

I paid a substantial upgrade charge for full ray skin wrap, and to my surprise, the seam was evident and in plain site, rather than hidden under the ito. I’m just shocked given the pedigree of swords sold, and this oversight is something even considered on much less swords made in other countries.

Thank you for your feedback.

We were just hoping to follow up with this as this may be a misunderstanding. The Hara-Awase style of maki - where the seam of the
tsukasame is in the center - is the most common method used historically on actual swords. This is in no way an oversight and is done
intentionally to maintain the traditional style of wrap. While the workshop is more than happy to hide the seam upon request, they will
otherwise keep to the more traditionally common hara-awase style if not asked.

Great quality!

This was the first Iaito I've ever owned. It came far earlier than the estimated delivery date which was amazing. It is very high quality in my opinion. I have been training with it almost every day for 6 months and it's still completely solid, no issues. My only complaint is that the navy tsuka-ito was a little more of a dull purple hue than the vibrant royal blue hue I was expecting. Overall, a beautiful iaito very well crafted!

Great Iaito

I recently received my fully custom Iaito, and it exceeded my expectations. It has excellent balance and the weight is just right. My only comment is regarding the Sageo; I chose the default option and I'm not very satisfied with its quality. Other than that, I would recommend it 100%. It's an excellent product!

So very beautiful. I love my iaito. It is with me almost all the time. I will base all my future purchases off the feel of this one. I absolutely adore what you have done for me. Thank you so much!
