The design of this men is derived from the powerful and beautiful aesthetics of samurai yoroi armor. Stitched to a tight 3mm to provide a firm and durable futon - it has then been decorated with yoroi style kazarigawa made out of hard-wearing synthetic clarino leather. This aesthetic has been completed with the addition of delicate inden inspired dragonflies depicted in black on the mimikawa and urakawa.

Tombo - dragonflies - have long been beloved by the samurai for their direct and unrelenting courage, which is why they are such a common motif amongst equipment used by bushi.

Behind this traditionally styled exterior is a modern men that provides excellent protection and features perfectly balanced IBB Dura Pro mengane. The core material is made of scarlet mousen felt, renowned for its impact absorption and the outer fabric is #10000 genuine shoaizome indigo cotton. To increase comfort when striking the mendare have been stitched diagonally.
