Tenryu means heavenly dragon and we see this koshirae as an evolution of our classic Genbu series Toryumon model. These in-stock Tenryu are fitted with the high quality fittings and features you expect, but can be shipped to you fast! These are in-stock Iaito and will ship within 3-5 business days. 

*Iaito are made with an aluminum zinc alloy blade and cannot be sharpened.

Good, bad and ugly

Sword was locked up tight and tuska & blade were aligned. Tsuba had some poorly finished areas & millworker lines. Sageo was unsat had to be replaced. Surprised no shitotome, had to order some then file fit and bond .most of the furniture had unsightly dark coating, had to use jewelers cloth to restore surface
. Seemed a little blade heavy with balance point about 160mm in front of tsuba. Packaging was superb with no damage to carton or contents. Shipping was supposed to be free yet I had to pay additional approx $40.00 for a brokerage fee. Have no idea who the Broker was or what he did for me!!!! Also paid a duty fee that came as a surprise! This was my second major purchase from Tozando. I clearly intended to use rewards points for my second purchase but despite multiple emails back and forth Tozando found a way to deny my points and to this day they have never offered a refund or other acceptable resolution. Tozando made clear that the package required a signature to receive so I used tracking to confirm delivery date. On that date I stayed home all day but package did not arrive with note delivery was to be next day so I stayed home SECOND day and did not arrive. On third day I HAD to attend appointments and when I got home package was outside my doorway obviously no signature accomplished. My first purchase from Tozando was a fully custom iaito that is pending completion and delivery and my hope is this purchase of over $1200 will be better in all respects and I look forward to reviewing this item for you.
