6mm White Clarino Naginata Kote
These naginata kote feature a classic colour combination with their white clarino synthetic leather and aizome indigo futon. Stitched to 6mm to provide a cushioned yet still durable futon, these provide excellent protection, whilst the clarino reinforcement absorbs additional force and protects the fingers.
Clarino is not as supple or tactile as deerskin leather, but it is far more durable - this pair is great for practitioners that rpactice frequently and need a pair of kote that is easy to maintain.
Made in Mitsuboshi's Kuji Workshop right here in Japan - these ktoe are designed to last and serve you faithfully keiko after keiko.
This set is a very good purchase for begginers or to add to your dojo equipment.
Craftmanship and finish of the kote is very good and although the futton is a bit soft, this kote let your hands move freely and naturally while doing mochikaeshi.
I ordered M size, wrist and palm size was comfortable, but finger lenght was a bit off. Make sure to add a photo of you palm and fingers with a measuring tape.
