This is a red oak naginata used in Jikinshikage Ryu Naginatajutsu. This naginata features a broader blade and a shorter shaft compared to the standard kata naginata.
Made in Miyakonojo, Kyushu, the heart of Japanese wooden weapon craftsmanship. Only genuine Japanese wood sources are used.
