Minosaka Jidai Koshirae Iaito
If you are a beginner looking for a good quality Iaito in a reasonable price range, this Jidai Koshirae is a good choice. It features decent quality fittings and is made by hand in Minosaka's Gifu workshop. The blade is made of a light-weight, reinforced zinc/aluminum alloy.
Please note that this is not a suitable shoto for kendo kata, the blades are made from a lightweight zinc/aluminium alloy that are not suitable for contact kata.
*Iaito are made with an aluminum zinc alloy blade and cannot be sharpened.

Ci sono stati diversi problemi con la realizzazione e la spedizione per via di alcune problematiche della fucina di tozando, detto questo nonostante sia arrivata leggermente in ritardo sono molto soddisfatto del mio acquisto e del duro lavoro che hanno impiegato per realizzare questo iaito di alta qualità. Sono stato un po esigente per via della data di spedizione nuovamente assegnata ma proprio comunicato, ne è valsa la pena aspettare
This Minosaka Jidai Iaito arrived in Australia very quickly after I made my order. Tozando's service was exceptional, including answering questions quickly.
The iaito itself is very nice, even though it is not one of the more expensive options. The configurator on the web site gives plenty of options for customisation, even if you choose the "no extra cost" options. I couldn't be happier with the product I received and I'm sure I will get years of use. I'd highly recommend this iaito to others.
I ordered a 2.35 Shaku blade and 8.5 Sun Tsuka. The weight without saya is 796 grams. Perfect for me. :)
