Designed using next-generation materials and Mitsuboshi's 65 years of experience in making budo uniforms, the Vixia is a luxurious pair of synthetic hakama designed for high performance in keiko. Its insulating material is tough and durable, but also light and breathable. During summer it wicks moisture away from your body, but during winter is able to insulate and keep heat in, perfect for any conditions. This version is available in luxurious deep indigo or black fabric.

I needed to substitute mine in order to take the third dan exam, and the programmed shopping date was AFTER my exam.
I told the customer service and they managed to send me the hakama earlier, to let me use it in my exam.

Excellent Hakama

I prefer polyester hakama as they hold their pleats well and are easy to wash. The Vixia Hakama are excellent. They look nice and fit well.

Light and soft

It is a fresh Hakama, it has a good drape in the folds, it is quite light. The size was barely adjusted, keep that in mind when choosing.
