Seiryu - Sakura Higo Koshirae Iaito
The Sakura Higo Koshirae features blackened brass fuchi and kashira with a gold-inlaid cherry blossom theme and an iron tsuba with sukashi-style cherry trees as a theme. The saya lacquer is available in kuroishime and chaishime. A sand-casted, bubble-free zinc/aluminum alloy blade available up to 2.70 shaku. The tsuka is carefully hand-wrapped with cotton braids over black tsukasame and the sageo matches with the tsuka color. The menuki are of course also Sakura-themed. For those who prefer a kojiri attachment, the Sakura Higo Koshirae's saya can be customized with one that matches the sakura theme.
*Iaito are made with an aluminum zinc alloy blade and cannot be sharpened.

I fell in love with this iaito as soon as I saw the images, it's elegant with it's black samegawa and golden sakura ornaments. I bought it, and the people from tozando were incredibly helpful, because I had never ordered any kind of international shipment (believe it or not). But as beautiful as it looked, it still had to go through the test of being used in actual training, and it is a real delight to train with.

The sword is beautifull. Golden cherry blossoms stand out from the black finish. I am very happy with the sword.
