The Hachi No Su Koshirae features a wasp design in the fuchi, kashira and menuki which are all made from brass. The tsuba is iron-made with a fine namako design. The saya lacquer is available in kuroro, kuroishime and chaishime. A sand-casted, a bubble-free zinc/aluminum alloy blade available up to 2.70 shaku. The tsuka is carefully hand-wrapped with cotton braids over white tsukasame and the sageo match the tsuka color. For those who prefer a kojiri attachment, the Hachi No Su Koshirae can be outfitted with an option that matches the fuchi and kashira.

*Iaito are made with an aluminum zinc alloy blade and cannot be sharpened.
