Plastic Saya for Bokuto

This saya is much better than the cheaper saya we can get in New Zealand. Good thickness of hard plastic and quite nice texture on the finish helps a firm hold.
I simply put insulation tape on the inside of the koiguchi to secure a nice tighter fit for no to of the bokuto. This is to be expected as bokuto obviously vary in shape. I bought a sageo also and my son is very, very happy with it while starting his iaido journey. Really quick shipping and first class tracking from Tozando right to my door.

I am not sure if i am getting the correct plastic saya for my Akamu Bokuto (Hokkaido Oak grooved) as it seems too tight. I placed the order separately, so I may not got the correct Bokuto that was meant as a set?

Fits perfect with the Bokuto.

It fits perfectly, and it’s not as simple as other plastic sayas.

It is a good saya to fit my Kendo Bokuto. Now I can start Iaido without the need to purchase another extra bokuto!
P.S. The saya comes with a plastic sageo. If possible it might be better to put a sign somewhere to warn beginners if they need to purchase a sageo separately.
