The Kurama is a 6mm stitch bogu. This means that while it also absorbs impacts well and keeps you very protected, it also maintains shape and is exceptionally durable against damage. Which is to say that this bogu will not only protect you, but it will also withstand the test of time and years of keiko. 

The clarino reinforcement, a synthetic leather like material used on bogu for decades, adds an extra layer of strong fabric to the most impacted parts of the bogu, allowing it to withstand what your opponents throw at it. This material is not only long-lasting, but also looks and feels amazing, making sure that you're looking the part.
