It arrived! I bought a size 37 junior high school girls’ shinai for my first-year junior high school daughter. She says it feels light when she swings it. The “Kirameki” lettering is also beautiful. I actually wanted to have her name engraved on the shinai, but Chiba Prefecture has regulations, so I write it on the tsukagawa myself. I hope to add more comments about the measurement check and how it feels after she takes it to a match. Thank you for the quick service.
I purchased this together with one for my child. This was our first dobari shinai, and my child said it felt very light when swinging it. My own shinai also feels light when I swing it. I think this will become my regular shinai from now on.
I have not used it in practice yet, but from doing suburi, it feels solid rather than extremely light. However, it has a very good feel when finishing a strike. I look forward to using it in practice this weekend.
The shinai I ordered arrived yesterday. Thank you for the quick service. My daughter was excited and took it to school, looking forward to using it in today’s practice.
This shinai is so easy to use that I wonder if there could be any shinai that suits me better. I always rely on it for tournaments.
I usually have my Tozando purchases shipped to my home in Fukuoka, however, I needed to have my second Daisho Sword Rack shipped to my son's home in Hawaii. This would be the first item from them shipped out of Japan to the US. I wasn't sure what to expect in terms of shipping and physical handling of the sword rack. But it arrived in perfect condition, undamaged, securely wrapped, and there were no additional charges due at receipt. This was my second Daisho Sword Rack, and - like my first - the assembly required was easy and the pieces slipped together with a snug fit. There were no scratches on any of the black enamel surfaces. It serves as a nice rack to display my iaito (sorry, iaito on display is *not* from Tozando - lol).

Ottime e bellissime.
