Budo Tabi - Leather Sole

These Budo Tabi are very nice, the best of all tabi that I've tried thus far from a variety of other vendors. Hence the 5-star rating. I bought them so I could wear them during Aikido keiko. With the leather sole, the tabi are not slippery when I'm moving around on the mat, unlike other tabi I've tried. The only problem I have with them is that the tabi are extremely tight at the slit between my big toe and the rest of my toes, so much so that it's very painful to sit in seiza. I didn't want to reduce the star rating for that because it may be that simply wearing a slightly larger (0.5 or 1cm) size tabi might fit better and not be so tight between my toes. So, as much as I like these tabi, I can't wear them during Aikido keiko. I will try ordering a larger size. Hopefully, the larger tabi will fit without being too loose and without the tightness between my toes. I think these Budo Tabi are a great product nonetheless and I'd highly recommend them.
