Derived from ground-up polishing stones, Uchiko is a fine powder that helps maintain the surface finish of the blade of Shinken when used sparingly.

This is not for use on Iaito, as it will damage the finish considerably.
When using on a Shinken (real sword), apply only occasionally to avoid compromising the condition of the blade.

The ground whetstones are double-wrapped in silk to allow for fine and controlled application. The deluxe grade is more finely ground than the standard.
