The Take are a heavyweight set of hakama made from thick cotton canvas. Tailored specifically for aikido with a raised hem, stitched pleats and rubber koshi-ita - they are perfectly at home in koryu practice and other disciplines that require ukemi in hakama. Thanks to their thick and soft cotton fabric they are comfortable to wear and fall in, but can get quite hot in the summer months. Recommended for practitioners that do a lot of practical techniques that require robust ukemi.

Deluxe Cotton Aikido Hakama - Excellent choice!

Positive points : this is my first Hakama. it has a Beautiful deep black color, very comfortable to wear during practice. Length of 26.5 for 1.80 m is perfect for me.
Negative points :
I have a strong body and a belly so I am missing +/-30-50 cm length on the lower belt to close it in front. Will know it for next purchase.
- Hygiene and perspiration odors : instead of a plastic bag, Hakama should be delivered with a textile bag to separate the hakama from the kimono after a sweaty training session.

Superb quality

Look no further for a Hakama. I have the Dark Navy, and it is divine. The weight and feel of the cotton is deluxe and the tone of the colour is perfect. Very smart, very well made.

Excellent product --- A good value for the money

I have been using my hakama for several months, and I am very happy with them. The cotton fabric is high quality and the stitching on the seams is very well done. Though I train hard, the hakama have held up well. I wash them in a front-loading machine on the delicate cycle, so they are easy to keep clean. That is important since I live in a hot climate. Thank you, Tozando!

Solid and comfortable

The best Hakama I tried so far. You can immediately see and feel the quality of work that goes into it. Beautiful deep black color, thick rigid long straps and solid structure. The structure and weight allows it to stay in a straight shape. so when taking ukemi it does not fold and trap under the feet like many light flimsy hakamas do. Just like any cotton product, it requires care, but worth it. I'm very much enjoying it and would definitely recommend it.
