This is a tetron string that connects all the parts of the shinai furnishing together and keeps the bamboo staves under tension. Whilst rare, sometimes these can snap or be cut accidentally, in this case you can order a replacement.
Our tsuru are made from highly durable tetron, a polyester and synthetic silk composite. This is incredibly durable and maintains excellent tension for your shinai. It is avaialble in eight colors and comes in a pack of 10.
