This Kata provides essential protection to your chest, shoulder and lower arm pit from the powerful thrusts involved in jukendo. Stitched to 6mm with large amount of impact-resilient stuffing the kata is fully reinforced by a rigid katabana of suigyuhi - water bufallow hide - that is then lacquered with black urushi.
The sleeve below the katabane is amde of black leather with a comfortable cotton reverse lining.
The kata comes complete with 165cm himo so it can be easily attached to jukendo bogu.
