"Furinkazan" is a simplified version of the battle motto used by Takeda Shingen; to be swift as the wind, as gentle as the forest, as fierce as fire, and immovable as the mountain! 

The Furinkazan is a Dobari-style Shinai, made with smoked bamboo. Smoking the bamboo increases the durability of the Shinai and also gives it a beautiful, dark brown finish compared to a normal shinai. Dobari-style shinai have a broader body that shifts the center of gravity towards the handle; this makes it feel lighter at the tip.

These Shinai come fully furnished and ready right out of the box. The deluxe double-looped Shikumi set is the most popular style of Tsuka-gawa and each of these fantastic shinai comes prepped and ready.
