Historical Background
Miyamoto Musashi is probably one of the best-known Japanese Ronin, not only as the undefeated swordsman but also as the author of 'The Book of Five Rings'.
He also founded his own school named Niten Ichi Ryu. His life is often adopted for various forms of entertainment. His philosophy continues to inspire many Kenshi around the world.
Specifications
This special edition of Miyamoto Musashi's Kaneshige Koshirae features the black leather Gangimaki style wrapping known as Musashimaki wrapping, used over blackened stingray skin. Namako Tsuba was designed by Miyamoto Musashi himself. Menuki is made of gold-plated brass with the bee theme and the Tsukagashira is black and Hamaguri-shaped.
The unique Shu Urumi lacquered Saya adds a luxurious and dignified appearance. Features A sand-casted, reinforced zinc/aluminum alloy blade with a reproduction of Fujiwara Kaneshige's Hamon.
This Iaito weighs approximately 820 grams without the Saya(for 2.45 Shaku). Proudly made in Japan.
*Iaito are made with an aluminum-zinc alloy blade and cannot be sharpened.

This an elegant and beautiful iaito, it handles really well and the sound from it is fantastic,
It lighter than my other iaito and feels more balanced in the hand I ordered this in Nov 23 and it arrived last week (it got stuck in UK customs for over 3 months, but was definitely worth the wait and patience whilst custom helped with the process of clearing it)
