This synthetic leather Iaito bag features two divided inner pockets to allow two Iaito (like a Dasiho set) to be carried together (with or without Tsuba in the case of Bokuto). It comes in three sizes so you can match it to the length of your Iaito or sword.

To make it easier to carry, the Iaito bag features a plastic handle and also a removable and adjustable strap for carrying over the shoulder. There is also a small inner pocket for keeping accessories.

L Size Review

I bought the L Size bag and it arrived today.

The bag looks very good, stylish, expensive, and high quality.

My regular size Katanas fit inside very well and there is still plenty of room left in length. I think I will be able to fit my slightly longer Katanas in there too in the future because the bag is long enough. This is why I bought the L Size and not the M Size.

The bag is made of quality material and wraps around the Katanas like a soft leather glove. The bag is well designed inside too, so that the two Katanas are tightly secured and do not touch each other at all. But the little pocket inside the bag is a little too small to be much useful.

However, I do not like the way the carry handle is designed. The space between the carry handle and the bag is too narrow, so it is difficult to put my hand through it and sometimes the hand gets jammed in between. Fortunately, the shoulder strap is very good, strong, and comfortable, so I do not need to use the carry handle, I just carry the bag on my shoulder, and the problem is solved. But the attachment rings at the ends of the shoulder strap are quite sharp and can sometimes be pricky.

I like the name display outside the bag because it helps you identify whose bag it is when you are in a dojo.

Overall, I really like this bag, and if the minor issues that I mentioned above could be addressed, then I would give this bag five stars.

Correct size

I ended up buying all 3 sizes before I found the correct size. The 111 CM and the 116 CM bag was too short. The 125 CM was just the right size. Unfortunately, you don’t have a return policy. I gave the two smaller sword bags to my students. Overall, Tozandoshop does a GREAT job.

Great bag!

Shipping in this was nice and fast, always amazes me when I get items from Japan in a bout a week. Quality of the bag is great. You know what you're getting in terms of pockets, etc...The seems are really well done, the stitching on the bag is brilliant. Looking forward to using this bag for a very long time!

I went through a number of other bags in the last year .None seemed to be able to hold and protect My katanas as well as these. Nice job!
