This simple leather accessory is is used to protect the koiguchi of your iaito when storing it.

Made from a single peace of shaped leather, it sits above your tsuba and around the habaki.  This extra layer prevents the habaki sticking and damaging the koiguchi over a long period of time increasing the lfietime of your saya.

Easy to use

I spent hundreds buying my iaito, so it just made sense to protect it with such an inexpensive item. My sensei also recommended one. It's easy to use - just pop it on and off as you put or remove your sword from your bag.
