The Byakko Ryu Koshirae features brass fuchi and kashira with a gold-plated dragon theme and an iron-made tsuba ,again displaying a coiling angry dragon. The sand-cast, a bubble-free zinc/aluminum alloy blade is available up to 2.45 shaku in length.

*Iaito are made with an aluminum zinc alloy blade and cannot be sharpened.

It's an authentic Iaito. Although it is not the best Iaito on the market, I give it 5 stars for value for money. At 72 years old, being light I can handle it with greater ease.
I can handle, also (I think), with the Spirit of the Water Dragon.

Beautiful Iaito

I researched online for swords, asked several Iaido practitioners for recommendations, and in the end I selected Tozondo for my purchase.

At the end of January 2024 I received my first Iaito . It is a beautiful and well constructed sword. Even my wife commented how pretty the tsuka was. I had upgraded the material to silk for better longevity against wear.

I am very happy to now have such a beautiful Iaito to practice Iaido with.
