Perfect for pairing with our Yomogi or Hourai Dogi─ these lightweight Aikido pants are made by our tailors in Iwate prefecture, Japan. Infusing a poly-cotton blend with Japanese mogwort (Yomogi), they are naturally anti-bacterial.

Fresh and light throughout training, these are perfect for warmer Keiko in the Summer months. Like all our tailored Aikido pants these have been specifically designed with Aikido practice in mind, including a double layer from the knee down to provide additional comfort and durability during Suwari-waza.

The thinnest pants for keiko you can buy, but also very strong.

These are the best pants for hot weather. They are incredibly light, and the material is very soft. The reinforced material added to the V-shaped part of the pants at the hips is a great feature that is hard to find on foreign-made products. All of the pants and hakama that Tozando sells that I know of have this feature which is very important for durability. One important thing to note about these pants is that they are fairly transparent (except for the double-layer portion from the knee down). This means that you should be careful what underwear you use, and if you sweat, the pants can have a wet white T-shirt effect. I would not recommend these for practitioners that do not wear a hakama, but for those that do, these are the best pants you can buy if you get hot.
