This jacket is not quite what I was looking for. The weight and sizing is good, but. the material does not have the soft texture of my other Tozano gi jackets. Over time some of the stiffness of the material should diminish with repeated washings and hard practice.

I received this throwing arts DOGI yesterday and have worn it; unlike many other throwing arts dogi, this RYO dogi is soft and feels nice on your skin and us breathable.

I am able to confirm it is made in Japan.
