Tozando started with five of these amazing do-dai, made by master craftsman, Kuwano Toshiro. Known for his work on same koshirae for countless Japanese swords, Mr. Kuwano also produced an array of pieces with same or "ray skin" as his medium. Once this item is gone, there will be no replacing it. While it remains on sale on our Japanese market, we decided to also offer this item to the world.

Two images show areas that the same skin did not fully cover the do-dai. These areas will be covered by Mune and Herikawa. Although under any other circumstances this would be considered a flaw, as Tozando's very last piece by Kuwano Toshiro Sensei, we are willing to consider them "flavor."
