Genbu - Shundou Koshirae Iaito

$318.35
Iaito Type

In 2013 the samurai jidaigeki film Shundo (internationally known as Bushido) was released and Tozando partnered up with the writer and director Mikami Yasuo to help design and provide authentic props for the movie.

This Shundo Koshirae is a replica of the iaito used by the protagonist Harada Daihachiro, played by Hira Takehiro. This is a fully functioning and authentic iaito with copper fittings matching the dragon themed kanagu of Harada's blades in the film.

You can select either to purchase jsut the iaito - suitable for standard Iaido practice, but if you also practice kodachi techniques then the Wakizashi is available separately or both can be purchased as a Daisho set.

These swords are proudly hand-crafted by our craftsmen in Gifu Prefecture, featuring zinc/aluminium cast blades. The iaito is available in sizes up to 2.45 Shaku, whilst the Wakizashi has a set length of 1.5 Shaku.
