This Yagyu Koshirae's fuchi and kashira is made of brass with the yagyu style theme and yagyu sangakuen circle is features on the blackened iron tsuba. The chrysanthemum menuki are placed in the reverse position known as sakasa menuki. The saya lacquer featured in the pictures is a sendan kizami in kuroro lacquer. A sand-casted, a bubble-free zinc/aluminium alloy blade available up to 2.70 shaku. The tsuka is carefully hand-wrapped with a cotton braid over white tsukasame and the sageo matches the tsuka color.
