The blade Akechi Koshirae is known as a treasure of the Akechi clan and this version is a faithful reproduction of the original family treasure that is exposed today at the Tokyo National Museum. The Fuchigane is made of iron and Tsukagashira and Tsukagashira made from buffalo horn. The theme of the Tsuba is Hyotan Sukashi. The Tsuka is navy blue silk and wrapped around a black Tsukasame Menuki of finishes are silver plated antique. The Sageo is navy blue silk. The size of the blade is available up to 2.45 Shaku. Weight without Saya is 800 grams (2.45 to Shaku). This sword has great balance with a reinforced alloy of zinc and aluminum. Each element of this sword is carefully assembled by hand by expert blacksmiths who are also in charge of the manufacture of Shinken (real Japanese blades).
